Equality
At The Peak Federation, we are committed to equality and inclusion for every child in our primary schools. We believe that all pupils should be treated fairly, respected for who they are, and supported to reach their potential, regardless of background, needs, or protected characteristics.
Our approach is built into everyday teaching, school routines, and the way we work with families. We plan carefully to remove barriers to learning, promote positive relationships, and ensure that every child has access to a broad and balanced curriculum. We also listen to pupils and parents, so that support is responsive and meaningful.
As a public sector organisation, we take our responsibilities seriously. This includes how we comply with the public sector equality duty, including assessing the impact of our policies, advancing equality of opportunity, and fostering good relations between different groups. These objectives are updated at least every four years.
If you would like to discuss equality and inclusion at your child’s school, please contact the school office or the designated lead.
